Just had to share our baby's first pics! After this week, I graduate to my regular doctor & can complete the progesterone, so I'm letting myself feel more excited again.
We had our first glimpse of the baby at 6 weeks, with that glorious image of the flashing heartbeat:
Then, we had another ultrasound at 8 weeks:
poor little baby is upside down...guess I should have rotated these pics for you... I wish we could have an ultrasound every week...it is so reassuring! Thank you for keeping our family & our little miracle in your prayers.
We thought the first row would be fun, but all the seats were probably of equal unless you have bad vision. There were no further perks other than saying we were on first row. Our hotel was convenient. We walked out and was around 100 feet from the front door of the Ford Center.The hotel is getting a 4 star. The Monster truck show gets a 3.5 star.
"Drive My Car" is one of our recent favorite Laurie Berkner songs, but I hadn't realized how Cade had caught on to this song's sound effects until last week. He would "sing" the song & do each verse's sound effects; it really was sweet.
THEN, last Friday, we were driving home from dinner enjoying him singing this new favorite song, when he added his own sound effect at the end. While it is completely inappropriate, it is quite fitting which makes it pretty funny!
SO...I wanted to video him singing the song & describe what he did. Instead, my terrible-2-year-old wasn't cooperating this day - he only does some of the sound effects & gets distracted in the middle of this version - however, he does finish the song with his new entertaining sound effect. So keep watching & make sure your volume is loud enough to hear the real song in the background - it is worth it, and it is obviously funny, so watch until the end. Maybe if it didn't make me laugh every time, he would stop...
Oh, and one last warning, please preview this entire video BEFORE you let the little ones watch...ENJOY!
Need to do 3rd level above the swing side, add swings, miscellaneous hardware, the mat, 4x4's and the mulch. This is 20 hours into it. I cannot say that there has not been a couple of minor miscues, but overall this has been great. I've had some friends volunteer to help, but this has been an enjoyable experience to do alone. I guess its the "man" thing. Neighbors should love it, because we have a birds eye view into all their backyards.-BS
